  • snydez · 2 years ago

allow free access policy to all, but publish every single employees activities. don’t get too deep into technicalities, let them sort themselves out.

    Depend on:
    1. Company core business. e.g banking is highly restricted, telco is highly IT dependent
    2. IT budget.
    3. Organizational & behaviour.

Yes, I agree with Anjar. I think some companies in banking industries, they do have very limited or no access policy for internet. But some other companies, probably they prefer to have type number 2 policy. My company is also implementing the limited access policy. The IT guys has installed the sophisticated application to monitor the usage of and access to internet.
